SOME things to consider for the photo shooT
First things first, you will have to bring all your good vibes and creativity with you, because we’re going to work as a team! I love hearing about ideas and combining my aesthetic with yours, always ends up in very unique results.
Being in front of a camera lens is not easy! As paradoxical as it sounds, I can confidently tell you that the stereotype stands true, being a photographer doesn’t mean it gets easier to be in front of the camera!
So, I have come up with some tips for you here, that will help you feel fully prepared for the big day!
My aesthetic is based on candid and natural moments. Of course, I’m going to pose you, so you can have some normal family or couple shots for your home frames, but to be honest, I usually hate stiffness. Keep in mind that you can just be yourselves, we’re getting to know each other and we’re simply having a walk all together, where at some point I might be your company and the next moment I only happen to be there in the background accidentally pointing my camera at you! This way we can capture the most candid side of your relationships!
About my color palettes, I’m usually bouncing back and forth, from bright, airy and pastels to dark, moody and film-like colour grading. My editing solely depends on your selection of clothes. The colors, the fabrics and the textures. And that’s because colors create something called color casting on an image, so for example, if you’re wearing a very vibrant, satin shirt and has complex pattern on it, it will affect not only your skin tones, but also the skin tones and clothes of the people around you and also the overall color combination of the people joining the photo shooting. So, that’s why I’m always recommending people selecting whites, creamy, pastels, soft colors in general and trying to match them with each other, like selecting one base color that everyone will have on them. And that’s how you can achieve a nice clothing selection, that’s going to be soft and merely neutral and can help me move around freely with my color editing afterwards, without limitations.
For the more practical information you will need, we will jump to the procedurals! I expect our meeting to start on the discussed time we agreed on, so I don’t postpone any possible photo shootings after yours and act unprofessionally. If you be late, our time will stay as agreed on and only if I feel that I need more photos for your gallery, I will add maximum 15 free minutes on our date. Our photo session usually lasts from 30minutes to 1 hour, depending on the package you select and of course, on the mood of the members.
